WANT LISTS Our hobby is extremely volatile. New cards that seem to be in good supply are suddenly unavailable while other seemingly rare cards are suddenly available in abundance. A player has a good year (or even a few good games) and his cards skyrocket, while a good steady performer with a single bad year may fall just as quickly. Add to all this that here in Canada most cards must be purchased by dealers from middlemen. Seldom are we able to buy directly from the manufacturer. Our costs often exceed the manufacturer's suggested list price. Products seldom stay on the shelf for more than a few weeks (unless, of course, they are in over abundant supply). There is an almost limitless number of single cards, often one (or two) -of-a-kind iitems in stock. All of this makes it extremely difficult to set up and maintain an on-line price list, let alone an "on-line store". Our solution, at this point, is to solicit your want lists.Whether you're interested in the latest box or set, an older set, or individual cards, let us know and we'll quote you a price on what is available. To save both of us some work, why not first send us an e-mail outlining your collecting interests: What sports interest you (or non-sports)? Do you collect several brands or only one or two? Do you collect only favourite players or do you try to complete sets? And what about chase cards? What time-period most interests you? Current cards? Cards of the nineties? Cards of the eighties? Or older, 'classic' cards? We'll let you know what we have available in your areas of interest. Then you'll have a better idea if it is worth your time to send us a detailed want list. When you do submit a list, please leave room for us to indicate availability and pricing - i.e. just list one item on a line. We'll get back to you as quickly as we can. We'll try to hold items for you for at least a day or two, but we can not guarantee that items will not be pre-sold. After we get a better idea of your purchasing patterns (i.e. do you buy everything we have available, or only the exceptionally low-priced items, or only some items as you budget allows), we may be able to definitely put aside items you are interested in. Our preferred method of payment is to have you mail or fax your credit card information to us. Make sure you also include your e-mail address (e. g. yourname@isp.com) If you request an orderpassword or authorize us to charge your future purchases to that card, you can then place orders safely through e-mail. (We will always compare your e-mail address to the address we have on file with your credit card information. Of course, we'll also respond to your want list to that address. Unless you specifically tell us to ship what is available from your want list, we will not ship until we receive your confirmation. Your card will be charged when we ship. [If the credit card information is not submitted 'on paper', we may bill your card immediately and delay shipment until the charge has been definitely approved.] We believe these procedures protect both of us and keep Internet shopping safe and convenient.) Here is a sample form you can print out, then fax or mail to us. Completing the form does not obligate you in any way. We will keep the information on file for at least a year from your last order - or until the expiration date on your credit card. We will always keep a print-out of your confirmed want-list (your order) on file in case of a dispute. This information will NOT be kept on any computer that can be accessed remotely. Send us your want list (or collecting interests) today!
