ORDERING INFORMATION

While all items are in stock (or expected in stock within a few
days), items are subject to prior sale.
We will make all reasonable effort to maintain the published prices
during the life of the price list (usually two - four weeks). However, prices are subject
to change without notice.
Ontario residents please add 8% provincial sales tax to sub-total (of
merchandise); Canadian residents please add 7% GST to sub-total (merchandise) + Postage.
Yes, I know it sounds complicated. If you pay by credit card, we will make the
calculations for you.
Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. If you are ordering by credit
card, the bank will automatically convert your purchase into your currency. If you are
ordering through snail-mail with a cheque, the cheque should be drawn on a Canadian or US
bank and be in Canadian or US dollars. The current exchange rate is about 25 - 30%. (US$
is worth 25-30% more than Cdn$). We reserve the right to withold shipment until the cheque
clears the banking system. If you are paying by money order, please use Canadian funds if
possible (US$ okay).
Shipping costs are $5 inside Canada, $8 to USA, $10 elsewhere. If our
actual shipping costs are less, you will be credited towards a future order.

Internet, please see the section below.
Unless otherwise stated, all sets are "hand-made" and do NOT
include insert or other "chase" cards. These cards are available separately.
We can supply most recent single cards. Although individual prices may
vary, we normally charge Beckett "high" prices expressed in Cdn$. (i.e.
approx. 75% of Beckett high price. A card that lists for $1 in the guide, that's
$1US, is sold by us for $1Cdn, that's about $.70 - $.75US.) Note that "hot"
cards and cards appearing for the first time in Beckett's are usually sold at a
higher price than listed in the price guide.
Orders will usually be shipped within two working days. Orders for
single cards may take longer. Orders with an e-mail address will be confirmed by e-mail.
If we can not fill your order within 5 working days, we will contact you for further
instructions. Remember that although e-mail is usually faster than regular mail, e-mail is
not instantaneous. It may take a day or more to reach us.

Ordering over the 'Net
Although it is highly unlikely that even unsecured transmissions will fall
into the 'wrong hands', you may want to use one of the more secure methods described
below.
Please note that we do NOT operate a secured site at this time.
Our preferred method for first time purchasers is by fax or snail mail.
You may use the sample order form available. A fax sent through a normal fax machine (or
sent as a scanned document via a computer) is the most secure method (other than mail). A
fax protects both you and us as we both have written confirmation of your order and
authorization.
If you elect to receive an 'orderpassword', you may then place future
orders securely through e-mail or on-line order forms (when available). Note that all
future orders using this method will be charged to the credit card used on your first
order. Your 'orderpassword' and the 'from' information (on your e-mail) will confirm your
identity to us. For this reason, you should always use the same e-mail account when
contacting us.
The second method is to send your order by e-mail without your payment
information and then either call us (or ask us to call you) and provide the payment
instructions over the phone. Because this method does not provide us with sufficient
written authorization, we may limit the total amount of your order or delay shipment while
confirmation of the provided information is obtained.
Third method: Send us your order by e-mail and ask us to hold it until we
receive your authorization and payment information either by fax or regular mail. We will
hold your order for a maximum of seven business days, so be sure to mail confirmation at
once. Since this provides us with written authorization, your order will be shipped as
soon as all the infornmation has been received.
Fourth method: Send us your order by e-mail, along with your shipping
address and the first four digits of your credit card, along with the type of credit card
(Visa MC, Amex). Wait for us to confirm receipt of your e-mail (by e-mail). Then, send us
the remaining digits (don't repeat the first four) and the year and month of expiry. By
splitting this information between two e-mails, you will greatly decrease any chance of
the information being stolen.
Finally, the least secure method is simply to place your order by e-mail,
including all necessary information in the one transmission. We do not recommend this
option, although the chances of information falling into the wrong hands are probably no
greater than allowing a waiter to take your card out of your sight.
