Orzo Oats Salad
(This makes a very tasty dish - but you may want to half the ingredients as this makes a very large salad.)

1 lb.

Orzo oats
2 2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup 187 ml white sugar
2 tbsp 30 ml flour
1/2 tsp 2.5 ml salt
32 oz 1 litre canned pineapple tidbits
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 small tub of Cool Whip
 
  1. Drain fruit, save juices.
  2. Combine juices, flour, salt and eggs. Cook until thick. Cool.
  3. Cook Orzo oats as directed and cool.
  4. Combine Orzo oats with other mixture and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Next day, add the drained fruit and fold in Cool Whip.

Note:
Lancia Orzo oats 2 lb. package contains 5 cups. 1 lb. = 2 1/2 cups; 1/2 lb. = 1 1/4 cups.
