If you need computer-related assistance, we may be of help. I have owned and used a personal computer since 1981. Although I am entirely self-taught and am relatively new to Windows (since 1993), I have had considerable experience with virtually all types of software. I have also assembled computers, installed hardware and operating systems and done some programming in Visual Basic. During the past two years I have developed and maintained this web site. I have a good understanding of HTML (the underlying language of web pages), and have dabbled with Javascript and VBscript. One of these days I hope to get around to ActiveX Controls and Java. If you have little or no idea of what this paragraph is talking about, but you want a web page for yourself or your company, then I can probably help you. (If you do understand what I'm talking about, then you can probably do it yourself, but I still may be of assistance.) I am an educator by profession. Part of my job is to provide basic computer instruction to adults who have had little or no computer experience. To assist in this task I have written instructional materials (the latest version being Using Computers ...). If you need someone to train yourself or your people in the use of new software, or if you need someone to write a training manual or documentation for your new software product, I may be of assistance. Perhaps you're thinking of issuing a newsletter to keep your customers informed of your company's (or oraginization's) activities. Whether you intend to release the newsletter on paper or electronically, I can assist you editorially and in the actual design and production. ~~~ My son, Chris, has just finished his second year in computer studies. Although his skills do not exactly match mine above, he too is available to assist you in those areas. In addition, he has experience programming in C++ and in other languages.
